Triple check the SCSI 2 cable. It burned me 5 times!!!
Look at the pins and be sure they're straight. Use a different
one if you have one to swap with. Check it's pins too.
Next thoughts are, one eds - one 442 for hardware, nothing else.
Remove the default project and start Paris from the .exe only.
Still getting 7/7 try re-erasing the tabs on the eds card.
Still getting 7/7 try a different PCI slot. Could be some muck there too.
Still getting 7/7 then swap the Mec with the 442 again.
