would seem to be an identical form factor to the 10-pin connector on my RME 9632 and 9652 cards marked "Word Clock".

It *looks* on the surface as though it might be easy enough to add a cable from the last EDS "word clock" out to the RME's "word clock" in.

Oh, don't worry, I wouldn't be so rash as to just do it - I have no desire to let the "magic smoke" come out of my computer. But anyone have any thoughts to share on this observation? Anyone have recollection about any investigations done into grabbing data streams directly off the EDS? Because it looks to my (admittedly untrained) eye like there might be some interesting places on/between EDS cards to intercept both audio and clock with some "home brew" cabling.

That 10-pin connector for word clock really gets around, doesn't it?
